What's New With Capt. Allen?

Many things indeed. You'll want to have a listen. Allen has been in Yankee prisons for some time now, and his life is getting all the more complicated. Most compelling about the 1864 letters as the story unfolds...he is having a very difficult time running his household. If one read between the lines, a very clear sense of challenges to conventional gender roles emerges. War has a way of unsettling tradition. Have a listen and I think you will get what I mean.
