I'll Have the Stewed Kidneys and Minced Codfish
I have recently developed a fascination for nineteenth-century food and eating: when, where, what...and for reasons I can barely fathom (in some cases), why. I will say this, though some of the menu selections I've encountered seem pretty gross and not particularly compatible with my twenty-first century tastes, most of what I see sounds damn tasty.
