Today I am reviewing Six Days in September: A Novel of Lee’s Army in Maryland, 1862 (Savas Beatie, 2017)

Those of you with an interest in the Battle of Antietam (or Sharpsburg, if you must...) will love the hell out of this fictionalized account of Lee's 1862 invasion of Maryland. And if you dig this one…you’re in luck! The companion volume, The Guns of September: A Novel of McClellan’s Army in Maryland, 1862, is due in October…I am really looking forward to this one :)
