Huzzah!! Today I am reviewing That Field of Blood: The Battle of Antietam, September 17, 1862 by Daniel J. Vermilya (Savas Beatie, 2018).

I really enjoyed this book…though I found a couple of tidbits with which I would take Vermilya to task (I mean, I always find something). Overall I consider his work a valuable addition to the literature on the Antietam campaign. Have a listen and let me know what you think!
